Tyler Laing No. 16 Myachi Chevrolet Caraway Speedway Pre-Race Report
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (July 26, 2012) – Tyler Laing and the No. 16 Myachi Chevrolet Coulter Motorsports team head to Sophia, N.C. this weekend for the UARA-STARS Series Racing Electronics 150 at Caraway Speedway.
Laing, in his first full season of UARA competition as part of the Coulter Motorsports driver development program, looks to build on several successful runs to boost his momentum heading into Caraway. Vying for the prestigious Rookie of the Year honors, Laing along with veteran crew chief Mikey Toemmes will head to the .455-mile asphalt track a day early to participate in the open practice session. While the outing will be Laing’s first time around the track, he remains optimistic, knowing his No. 16 Myachi Chevrolet takes well to the tight quartered short tracks.

Speedway kicks off with two practice sessions from 12:45 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. – 3:15 p.m. Qualifying is set for 5:30 p.m. followed by the green flag at 8:00 p.m. (All times Eastern.)
