 UARA-STARS 150 Advance
Caraway Speedway | Race 9 of 16

Three Weeks in Sweet Home Carolina: Kicking off three weekends in a row of UARA-STARS action, Cory Joyce and the No. 20 Ultimate Turf Chevy team will travel to nearby Caraway Speedway this Saturday for the UARA-STARS 150. With all three events held at tracks near the Cory Joyce Racing facility in North Carolina, the team will have more opportunities to work on their impala with less travel time. Though Joyce has not competed at the short track in Sophia, North Carolina, prior to this weekend, he's optimistic about his chances and excited to take on the challenge of the track's unique characteristics.
"I've always wanted to get the chance to race at Caraway Speedway, and I'll finally get to this weekend," Joyce said.
"From what I've heard, the track is fast and a lot of fun to run. It'll be challenge to get our Ultimate Turf Chevy handling on both ends of the track, since they're both different. I'm looking forward to racing three weekends in a row and it'll be good for us to get a good finish on Saturday to start these next three weeks of with momentum. "
Saturday's events at Caraway Speedway will begin with practice sessions from 12:45-1:45 pm and 2:30-3:15 pm. Qualifying for the 150 lap shootout is scheduled for 5:30 pm with the green flag set for shortly after 8:00 pm EST. A Look Back at Newport: Cory Joyce returned to Newport Speedway for the second time in four weeks on Saturday night for 150 laps of short track racing, UARA-STARS style. After battling with both tight and loose handling conditions throughout both practice sessions and the entire race, Joyce was able to hang on to his No. 20 Ultimate Turf Chevy for a 12th place finish.
