ARCOPLATE joins UARA as Sponsor
The United Auto Racing Association (UARA) is pleased to welcome ARCOPLATE as the new sponsor for the Association’s contingency sponsor program.
The “ARCOPLATE Hard Charger” program will be starting at Hickory Speedway on June 23. The award will be given to the driver with the highest points recorded from eight of the last ten races in the series. The winner will receive a prize of $1000 (one thousand dollars), which will be presented at the 2012 UARA Championship Awards Banquet.
As a bonus, UARA drivers that promote the ARCOPLATE decal on their cars will be eligible for the year-end ARCOPLATE Hard Charger Award. Points will be based on the current UARA points system. Teams that compete in the last 10 events will accumulate points and be allowed to throw out the two worst finishes to come up with their best possible total points to vie for the award.
ARCOPLATE is partnering with young Australian driver Brodie Kostecki, who will be making his debut at the UARA at the Hickory event.
