2012 Rules amendments
August 24, 2012
After reviewing the weight change the UARA feels the weight reduction was not a move in the right direction for the present or the future.
Effective immediately all crate cars will weigh 3025 total 1350 right side.
In an attempt to try and equal the competition the GM 604 crate engine will be allowed to use the following:
COMP P/N 26918-16 valve spring (install height of 1.780)
COMP P/N 787-16 retainer
GM Performance harmonic balancer part number P/N 12551537 (Use with timing pointer P/N 3991435)
The UARA will continue to evaluate the rules and adjust accordingly in an effort to equal the competition.
