WOW did not think it has been this long since I posted here. But they say time flies when you are havin fun. We have been working on the 2013 season since the last event at Rockinham th PRI
Show in Orlando and the IMIS show in Indy both shows produced a lot of good news for the UARA in 13 keep in touch for the coming announcements. As most of you have seen we have posted the 13 schedule with some great speedways 2013 is going to see one major change is moving from a great marketing partner Good year for a great 11 years to Hoosier Tire. It has been a pleasure working with Scott Junod and the fne folks at Good Year in the past but we are looking forward to working with Gary Freeman at Hoosier South in the future.
I would just like t personally thank all of the UARA officials for their help and support

Have not been on here in a while.We have been working on some new things
For the people that question the changes to the GM crate I will explain our thoughts.
In 2011 the GM crate ,Ford Crate, Ford Built ,and GM build seamed to be pretty equal. 2012 the GM crate seamed to be off of the Ford Crate and build engines with that we feel it is best to adjust on the GM crate rather than the others. We tried weight reduction but in reviewing the weights this was not the right direction for now and the future. The valve spring we have given the GM crate is very affordable and in the long run it should be less expense.We want each team to be able to use the engines they have be Chevy or Ford built or crate. It has been a while since I have had time to get on here. It has been a super busy and short summer.We would like to welcome UltraCoolBrakeFans.com on board as a part of the ever growing UARA Family.
I would like to thank the Teams ,Fans and Officials for their support this far in the season it has been extremely hot some times unbearable.We just started a long run of events at Caraway Concord and Tri County back to back.We look forward to seeing everyone at these upcoming events .If for some reason you cannot make it the the races you can watch the 'UARA races live at www.motorsportsbroadcasting.com. To bring a little light to the past couple of UARA events I feel I need to make a statement.
As for the DQ's of the 04 car. The UARA prides its self on keeping the rules fair and equal.
The cylinder head was removed from the 04 following the Kingsport event . UARA officials ruled the head had been modified compared to the sample head supplied by Ford. The head was sent to Ford Racing and Ford sent back that the head had been modified.
The DQ of the 04 at Anderson was because the UARA does not allow any air directing behind the front spindles. (a team member on this team was a member on another team in 2011 when this rule was made ).The 04 had an unapproved blower on the right rear. Also the number one spark plug hole on the right head was not in line with the upper ball joint These could be over sites on the teams part, however it was not in compliance with the UARA rules.
The UARA will not discuss DQ information on the race forums. This is very unprofessional.
We will state the facts if necessary here on the UARA web site.

Got behind on the page here will try to do better.
Since last time I was on here we ran Kingsport had a little issue there but it all worked out.I would like to send a special thanks to the great people at Ford Racing for their prompt and speedy support.

It has been a little while since I have been on here have had a full plate.
I would like to say thank you to all the fans,teams,officials for a great event this weekend at the Rock. The UARA has presence at the truck race our announcer Tony Stephens is announcing and Rev Joe Lewis gave the invocation.And a special thanks to the Drivers that participated at the SpeedFest Friday night at Rockingham.

I would like to say thank you to the fans teams and owners the came out and made opening night at Hickory a good night. The drivers did a great job with the first time we have done double file restarts it went a lot better than expected and made a great show for th fans there was racing from the front of he pace to the rear of the pack. As for the people that tried the PPV debut there were some problems that MotorSportsBroadcasting is working to correct please bear with us as it will be worth it. Have not been here is a few days been getting a little behind. 2012 is shaping up to be one ot the best seasons ever. There is a lot of young talent and veterans getting ready to do battle at the famed Hickory Motor Speedway Saturday MArch 17, The UARA and http://motorsportsbroadcasting.com/ have teamed up for 2012 to bring the events to the fans that may not be able to attend.Stay tuned as it only gets better.

Just read a newspaper article where it appears Irwindale Speedway, considered by many to host the finest short track racing in the nation, appears to be history.(hope it is not true)
It seems in todays racing there is a lot of complaining about small trival matters, car count, official's call or somthing.This has gone on since racing began and it will continue.There is nothing in the US today that is the way it WAS we all have have to make changes as times change.I do not know of one person the economy has not affected. It is time Teams, Driver, Fans to please get out in 2012 and support the track or series of your choice. It is easy to sit back and complain but when you decide to get over being mad or upset and go to an even and the gate is locked it may be to late. Have great 2012. Stay tuned we have some exciting news coming soon.

UARA official Greg Harvey had open heart sugery this morning his wife Abby said every thing went well and he is resting. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Greg and Abby and the whole Harvey family.

The Charlotte Racing Expo went well .I would to say thanks to all the fans
Drivers and Teams that stopped by.We had some good meeting in Charlotte on Friday that we will announce in the next few days.

2011 was a trying year for the teams series and sponsors however it ended on a very positive note
There was some very high times and some very low times.through out the season.
2012 has some promising things in the works and we hope to announce very soon.
I would like to personally take the time to thank all the Race Teams, Sponsors , and Officials for all of your support in 2011.
This page is something I want to do to try and keep everyone informed as to the current news and situations that occur during the UARA season.Sometimes the internet forums create things that need to be explained by the series and I feel this will be the place to do that.
Please check back time to time as we will update as things change and happen.
The UARA will have a booth at the Charlotte Racers Expo January 27 and 28 in booth # G3 please stop by and say Hello.
