JULIA DAWSON WILL DEBUT NEW
CHEVY CAMARO AT CONCORD

Hendersonville, NC (3/21/11) –Julia Dawson will be making her debut as the first driver to drive a Chevy Camaro during the United Auto Racing Association (UARA) race at Concord Speedway on March 26, 2011.
“I had my best finish of the year at Concord last year, and am really excited about debuting the Camaro at this year's Concord race,” says Dawson. “Maybe it will bring us a little good luck. Camaros are also special to me because my first ever street car was actually a red Camaro with a black t-top. I think it’s pretty cool for me to now be racing in a red Camaro with a black top,” Dawson said.
During the off season, Dawson got some experience with her new ride when she tested the Camaro at Greenville Pickens Speedway.
UARA announced at the ending of last season that they would allow Camaro and Mustang bodies to run in the series.
Brennan Poole has set the bar for his fellow competitors by winning the season opener at Hickory Motor Speedway. Poole is in his third season with the UARA and has been at the top of the leader board since joining the UARA.
Newcomer George Miedecke driving for Marcos Ambrose Motorsports and FHR was a close second to Poole. Poole said he felt the pressure of Miedecke and wasn't sure if he would have been able to hold the lead if the final laps had been a long green flag period.
The UARA is blessed with many determined newcomers for 2011 along with a great host of seasoned veterans to make for a good mix of competition. The competition level of the UARA is amazing.
Dawson, Brennan Poole, Chad Finchum and John King II were at Bristol Motor Speedway last weekend representing the UARA at the Food City Race night. It was a great affair for many fans to view UARA cars and drivers.
NASCAL has stepped up to sponsor the 1/2 leader .The leader of lap 75 will receive
$100.00 from Mark Dyer owner of NASCAL the company that wrapped the UARA pace car for the 2011 season. See NASCAL for all of your lettering needs.
