THANKS TO OUR SPONSORS

During this break in our racing schedule the UARA-STARS would like to express much gratitude to our series sponsors who continually help to make our series grow and be the best racing avenue for many a driver.

Goodyear Racing and Larry Robinson Enterprises are a series sponsor and have serviced our series with great tires from our inception in 2002.  We began 2002 with Russ Leicht and family following the tour and in 2003 Kevin Piercy and the MTP tire gang jumped on board and continue to do an excellent job for the series and all of our racers.  We welcome them to the UARA-STARS family and are grateful for all they do and have done for us through this our fifth season racing.

Aluminum Racing Products also joined us in 2002 with Roy Dies representing them.  They sponsor the ARP Hard Luck Awards which the drivers hope to avoid but appreciate the help that it gives them in the aftermath of a difficult night of racing.  They also sponsor a stock car bodies to the series Champion and the Rookie of the year as well.  They are indeed an added plus to our series.

Sunoco Fuels with Shorty Bearden and Danny Presnell have been on board from the start as well furnishing us with our purple fuel.  They too are series sponsors and also have been sponsoring the Sunoco Pole Award each race.

KLB Racing, Inc has been a series sponsor from the beginning along with Kerry Bodenhamer being a co-founder and President of the UARA-STARS series.  The first three years KLB has given a stock car chassis to the series champion at the banquet.  This year they will be giving a gift certificate or cash award to the car owner of the year.

Sonic/Tilton stepped on board in 2003 thanks to Kirk Skaufel.  They have sponsored the driver with the most laps lead per race with a $100 gift certificate and also the 5th and 10th place finishers with a $50 gift certificate.    They also present a $500 certificate to the driver that leads the most laps overall for the year.

DRP Performance Products joined the UARA-STARS sponsor list in 2003.  They established 10% off gift certificates for the 5th and 10th place finishers.  Along with the DRP contingency comes the $100 Real Square Laser Wheel Alignment System certificate for 3rd place finish beginning with the 2006 season.

CV Products stepped on the UARA-STARS sponsorship wagon in 2004 giving $50 certificates to the 4th and 11th place finishers.

Holley Performance Products with Bobby Writesman representing them have been with the series since 2004 as well and sponsor the Holley Performer of the Race with a $100

cash award and have an annual award of $500 to the driver of the year.

Murrco Fabrication, Inc. joined the UARA-STARS series in 2004 giving discounts to drivers & crews purchasing their pit carts and mostly the pit cart they have furnished the tour that contains our tech tools. We would surely be lost without that wonderful piece of equipment and we are most grateful.

FireAde established the Ronnie Thames Memorial Most Laps Completed Award beginning in 2004.  This award is a $3000 cash award to the driver completing the most laps.  We are most pleased to have Ron Thames and the Fire Service Plus group on board to help our series grow and honor our drivers.

Bassett Wheels awards the second place finisher with a certificate for $30 off on the purchase of two wheels at each race.  They also present the series champion with a certificate four Four free powder coat wheels, $100 off the purchase of four wheels to the second place point finisher, $50 off the purchase of two wheels to the 3rd, 4th and 5th place points finishers for the season to be presented at the annual awards banquet.

In 2005 we find the Competition Cams company coming along furnishing a $200 product certificate per race to the winner of each event.  CompCams is recognized as the Official Cam of the UARA-STARS.  They will also present a $500 certificate to the most improved driver of the year at the annual banquet.

Brad Smith with RH2way joined forces with the UARA-STARS in 2005 presenting the Rookie of the Race award.  In 2006 RH2way changed their award to be presented to the first non-qualifier of any given race.  Brad also sponsors the Bell Helmet award giving $150 per event to the highest placing finisher wearing a Bell helmet.

Johnny Hightower with Hightower Racing Transmissions is a new sponsor in 2006 giving a labor certificate to the first place finisher.

Our most recent sponsor to join the series is Melling Select in 2006 sponsoring the Melling Select Rookie of the Race paying $100 per event to the highest finishing rookie.

Eric Smith was instrumental in bring the sponsorship to the UARA. Melling Select will pay a year-end rookie award. Melling is an automotive parts manufacturing company.

Contingency Connection brings with them multiple bonus programs to our series. They link us with many sponsors. By displaying the decals for these sponsors, our racers can receive various certificates and discounts.

We also would like to thank Prestonsburg Cycle Center of Prestenburg,KY for the generator we use to power our mobile office

We express special thanks to Larkin Turner at Turner Chevrolet in Haysi, VA for the beautiful Monte Carlo pace car. Turner Chevrolet has been with us for four years originally furnishing us with a Camaro pace car.
