UARA STARS Officials announce purse increase for 2006

Hendersonville, NC (February 28) – STARS Officials announced today an increase to the 2006 purse. With increased cost of travel, Officials have increased the total pay through out the field with first place now paying $3000 to win every event in 2006.

Payoff are as follows: 1^st - $3000, 2^nd- $1400, 3^rd-$800, 4^th-$700, 5^th-$625, 6^th-$600, 7^th-$575, 8^th-$550, 9^th-$525, 10^th-$500, 11^th-$400, 12^th-$350, 13^th-16^th-$300, 17^th-21^st-$275, 22^nd and 23^rd-$250, 24^th-28^th-$225.

Along with the purse other posted awards include, $100 for the SUNOCO Pole Award, $100 to the Holley Performance, Performer of the race, $100 certificate to the driver with the hardest luck from ARP Bodies, $50 for 5^th place and 10^th place from DRP, $100 certificate for 3^rd place from Laser Square Wheel Alignment, $100 certificate to the driver who leads the most laps, $50 certificate for 5^th place, and $25 certificate for 10^th place from Sonic Racing Performance, $50 certificate for 4^th place, and 11^th from CV Products, $200 certificate for 1^st place from Comp Cams, $100 for the Rookie of the race from Melling Select Oil Pumps, $30 for 2^nd place for Bassett Wheels, $50 Labor Certificate for 1^st place from Hightower Transmissions, $125 Determination award certificate to the first non qualifier, $150 to the highest finishing driver wearing Bell Helmet from Bell Helmet.
