Holley Performance returns for third season with UARA STARS

Hendersonville, NC (January 24) - For the third season in a row the leading carburetor and fuel related products manufacturing company, Holley Performance will return to UARA STARS as a contingency sponsor  for the Performer of the Race and the Performer of the Year.

UARA STARS along with Holley Performance have established a program for drivers that have an outstanding performance in sixteen 150 lap events that are held throughout the Southeast Region. Officials announce at the end of the night’s events the driver that has displayed exceptional Performance during the event. This award seldom goes to the winner of the event. An example of the award would be a driver that may have trouble throughout the event but battles his way back to a top five finish.

Our racing has been very exciting over the last couple of seasons, we have Holley to thank for that, we made a change from two barrel carburetors to 390 four-barrel carburetors and puts the racing back in the driver’s seat. Josh Adams was the first UARA STARS Holley Performance Performer of the Year in 2004 and Jamey Caudill was awarded Performer of the Year for 2005.
