Gotham Records
recording star Tony Justice known for his
hit NASCAR Chicks, is a 36 year old singer
from Rutledge, TN. Tony will be performing
at Newport Speedway, Saturday August 5, 2006
prior to the Food City / Steve Pendergrass
150 Memorial race . We are very excited to
have Tony join us signing autographs and
giving out CD’s throughout the evening.
Congratulations !!

Wishing much
happiness to Mark and Dana Setzer on the
birth of their daughter Addisyn. Addisyn
joined the Setzer family Friday, July 21,
2006 at 10 p.m. weighing in at 7 pounds 6 ½
ounces.
Mark began
the 2006 season as a temporary driver for
car owner Mitch West at the March 18 Hickory
race. He then moved on to the # 48 Rocky
Fork Hydraulic / Edge Racing Products car
owned by Roger Phillips and they have shown
to be a very competitive team with some very
impressive runs thus far this season. Mark
has earned the most laps lead at both Lanier
and Shenandoah Valley Speedways. He lead
127 laps of the Lanier race eventually
finishing second to Jamie Yelton. Mark
backed this up with what appeared to be a
run away and hide run at Shenandoah Valley
leading 87 laps when bad luck hit with a
broken hub leaving Mark to finish 15th ten
laps down. Mark is currently 13th
in the UARA points having had 4 top ten
finishes.
Don’t be
surprised to see his name in the winner’s
column before this year is through.
