Driver Introduction:  MARC DAVIS

Silver Spring, MD

Birthday: June 23, 1990

 Marc comes to the UARA ready to learn and ready to race.  This 14 year old rookie will be the youngest competitor in the series. 

Marc ran his F-150 Ford in Florida’s FASTRUCK  Fastkids circuit  last year making the transition from legends.  Davis, a ninth grade student developed his racing skills in the 600 Racing program.  Marc is a two time NATIONAL POINTS CHAMPION  in legends road course and dirt oval.  2003 was a great year for Marc winning both Young Lion divisions in the same year.  He competed in over 60 races with only 3 DNF’s. 

 Marc’s other racing experiences since age 6 include BMX, quartermidgets,  junior dragsters, and bandoleros.   Marc’s fun car is a 1988 Mustang 5.0 .  He has a provisional license in NASA  to compete in the road course Camaro-Mustang Challenge. 

 Off track you can find this years UARA rookie skateboarding.  He loves to create digital art on the computer and in free time is a student pilot with a passion for flying.

 Marc contributes much of his racing success to the many  experienced drivers that have shared their knowledge helping him to become a better driver.

 Marc will campaign  the # 34 Taurus/ Townsend and dedicate the season to the memory of  Wendell Scott.
