Over fifty cars expected at Hickory Motor Speedway for UARA STARS 2^nd Annual Joe Walker Memorial 150

 Hickory, NC (March 17) – Now that the weather for the 2^nd Annual Joe Walker Memorial 150 is not a problem, UARA Officials now have to figure out were to park over fifty of the best Late Model drivers in the Southeast. Forty-eight drivers have pre-entered for this Saturday nights 150-lap late model event with approximately five to eight more that are planning on arriving for Fridays open practice session. 

Most of the drivers have already been to the speedway preparing for this weekends event. Practice will get underway at noon on Saturday with qualifying beginning at 5:00 pm. “We are excited about the race this weekend, we are expecting over fifty-cars and the weather is clearing off for an exciting weekend of racing. We have plans to run two heat races and will take the top two cars from each heat,” stated Brian Vance, Competition Director for UARA STARS.
